Changing Image Size


When you first take a picture off your camera, the image size is probably too big. Here are two quick ways to resize images in photoshop.

Go to Image/ Image Size as shown above. You will see a window appear.

You can either change the size of your image by percentages or pixels. I usually do percentages, but by using exact pixels you can make sure an image meets certain requirements that some sites have. Either way, select which one you'd like to go by, then change the width and height accordingly. If you chose percentage, you dont need to put a % sign on. If you chose pixels, you only need to change one of the dimensions, because photoshop changes the other one on its own for you.
